A great round of cricket for the ECC juniors, with four out of our five teams posting strong wins over their opponents. The under 16s played Mill Park/Thomastown away, MP/T batted first after winning the toss and made 3/120 off 24 overs. Eltham got the runs and the points, off 23 overs (8/142).
The Under 14 1s had a comfortable win over Riverside. Afetr winning the toss, Eltham put RS in to bat and limited their score to 6/85. In reply: Eltham 4/129.
The under 14 2s (blue) played Lower Plenty @ Susan St. Lower Plenty elected to bat first and made 8/55. In reply Eltham made 3/131.
The under 14 2s (teal) played Lower Plenty Gold away and put them in to bat after winning the toss. LPG were restricted to 7/75 off 23 overs. In reply, Eltham made 4/127 off 22 overs.
The under 12s were defeated by Lower Eltham at home (details unavailable at time of posting).
